This complete refurbishment began with an empty, bare-bricked property. Fitting a restaurant from this newly-built unit required a range of services. Anthony Rudelhoff was instrumental in the design of Winkles Seafood Restaurant as well as site managing the whole project. The picture above shows the property after the walls had been plastered.
The many tasks ranged from planning permission application to a co-ordinated installation of water, electricity and gas services.
As can be seen above, suspended ceilings were fitted and the floor was covered with ceramic tile. Anthony Rudelhoff was able to advise on furniture. Fire and smoke detection systems were also installed, as well as ceiling and floor lighting and a music system.
Doors and frames were fitted where necessary, as well as glazed screens. The picture above shows an example of the bespoke window-side joinery. As well as the main dining area, a kitchen was also fitted out with - among other things - an oven, deep-fat fryer and extractor fans.
A service menu and screen were installed
The shopfront was also fitted, complete with neon signage.
